Although several family members work in the legal sector, I did not intend to join them until completing a Communications Law class as part of my undergraduate curriculum. With a face for radio, I initially pursued a career behind the microphone but discovered limited employment opportunities. Undeterred, I went back to school and earned a paralegal certificate before eventually attending law school. To avoid the substantial debt accompanying law school, I obtained my Juris Doctor in just over two years while working full time as a paralegal. I passed the February, 2014 Michigan Bar Exam and subsequent Bar Exams in California and Ohio.
